Crossing the Bridge to Home The historic Wallace Mill Bridge is a unique Bedstead bridge (pony Prat leg truss) located on Route 683 (Bashaw Road) in Western Augusta County, Virginia. It is situated in a rural setting where it spans the Little Calfpasture River. The bridge was built by the Champion Bridge Company of Wilmington, Ohio in 1914. Efforts to save and preserve this interesting piece of earlier Americana are currently underway.
